THE STORY
Born from friendship and a love of creativity, eb+ive was established in 2003 by Nicky Morgan and Julie McKie.
What started as a passion project — crafting handmade jewellery — soon transformed into a thriving business. Selling their designs to local designers and hosting house parties, the duo focused on quality, originality, and affordability. As their vision expanded, so too did the label.
What is eb+ive?
eb+ive comes from the words ebony and ivory, which represents Nicky and Jules. Together, they represent contrast, balance, and unity.
At its heart, eb+ive is about bringing people together. We believe in inclusion, diversity, and equality, and in celebrating individuality in all its forms. No matter your shape, size, colour, race, or gender, eb+ive is designed to support and welcome everyone.
This belief shapes how we think, design, and grow as a brand, today and into the future.
